What's the difference between the Perkins 4.203 and the 4.236?

Both are 4-cylinder Perkins indirect-injection diesels in the same family, but the 4.236 has a larger bore (98.4mm vs 91.4mm) and more displacement (3.86L vs 3.33L). The 4.236 makes more power and uses a different kit. Look at your engine ID plate — if it says "4.203" you need this kit; if it says "4.236" order our SKU 4.236 ($449.99) instead.

Are the bearings sized STD or undersize?

Standard (STD) size. If your crankshaft has been previously machined undersize (0.010", 0.020", or 0.030"), you'll need to order matching undersize bearings separately. Always micrometer your journals before installing new bearings.

Does this kit include head bolts and main bearing cap bolts?

No — the kit includes rod bolts + nuts but not head bolts or main cap bolts. Many rebuilders reuse them if they're in spec; if you want fresh hardware, order Perkins 4.203 head bolts and main bolts separately. Rod bolts SHOULD always be replaced (included in this kit).
