RETURN & REFUND POLICY

At Shop.Arko Tractor Parts, your satisfaction is our priority. We stand behind the quality of our parts and are here to help if you're not completely satisfied with your purchase.


Return Eligibility

30-Day Return Window

  • Returns must be initiated within 30 days of delivery
  • Parts must be unused and in original condition
  • All original packaging, seals, and labels must be intact
  • Proof of purchase (order number or invoice) is required

How to Initiate a Return

  2. We'll Provide Return Instructions:

    • Return authorization number (RMA)
    • Return shipping address
    • Any specific documentation requirements
  3. Ship Your Return:

    • Package parts securely in original packaging
    • Include RMA number on package
    • Include all accessories, manuals, and hardware
    • Use a trackable shipping method

Special Requirements for Fuel Injection Pumps

Fuel injection pumps require additional documentation for returns:

  • Certified installation documentation must be provided
  • Documentation must be from a certified mechanic or authorized service center
  • Must include:
    • Installation date
    • Installer's certification/credentials
    • Any issues encountered during installation
    • Proper installation verification

Returns without proper installation documentation will not be accepted.


Refund Processing

Timeline:

  • Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days of receiving and inspecting your returned parts
  • Original payment method will be credited
  • Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account (depending on your bank)

Refund Amount:

  • Full purchase price of returned parts (if eligible)
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or defective parts
  • Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the part is defective or we sent the wrong item

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.

To exchange a part:

  1. Return the original part for a refund
  2. Place a new order for the correct part

This ensures you receive the right part as quickly as possible and avoid downtime.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

❌ Parts damaged due to improper installation
❌ Parts damaged due to improper use or misuse
❌ Parts showing signs of installation or attempted installation (unless defective)
Fuel injection pumps without certified installation documentation
❌ Parts with broken seals or tampered packaging
❌ Parts returned more than 30 days after delivery
❌ Electrical components that have been installed or connected
❌ Custom-ordered or special-order parts
❌ Clearance or final sale items
❌ Core return items (see Core Return Policy)


Defective or Damaged Parts

If your part arrives damaged or is defective:

  1. Contact us immediately (within 48 hours of delivery)

  2. Do not attempt installation if damage is visible

  3. Provide:

    • Photos of the damaged part
    • Photos of the packaging
    • Order number
    • Description of the defect or damage
  4. We'll arrange for:

    • Free return shipping (prepaid label)
    • Full refund OR replacement part (your choice)
    • Expedited shipping on replacement (when available)

Wrong Part Received

If we sent you the wrong part:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery
  • We'll send you the correct part at no charge
  • We'll provide a prepaid return label for the incorrect part
  • No cost to you for our error

Warranty Coverage

6-Month Limited Warranty

We stand behind the quality of our tractor parts.

What's Covered:

  • Defects in materials
  • Defects in workmanship
  • Manufacturing defects

What's NOT Covered:

  • Improper installation or installation errors
  • Misuse or abuse of the part
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from accidents or impact
  • Damage from operating outside specified parameters
  • Parts installed by non-certified personnel (for items requiring certified installation)
  • Consequential damages or losses

Warranty Claim Requirements:

  • Contact us with order number and description of defect
  • Provide photos or video of the defect
  • For fuel injection pumps: Certified installation documentation required
  • Part must be returned for inspection (if requested)

Approved Warranty Claims:

  • Replacement part shipped at no cost
  • OR full refund (your choice)
  • We cover return shipping for warranty claims

Return Shipping Requirements:

  • Use a trackable shipping method (required)
  • Insure returns over $100 (recommended)
  • Keep tracking number until refund is processed
  • We are not responsible for parts lost or damaged during return transit

Inspection Process

All returned parts are inspected upon receipt.

We check for:

  • Signs of installation or use
  • Damage from improper handling
  • Missing components or hardware
  • Packaging condition
  • Compliance with return policy terms

Returns that fail inspection:

  • Will not be refunded
  • Customer will be contacted with photos/explanation
  • Part can be returned to customer at customer's expense
  • OR customer can authorize disposal of part

Restocking Fee

We do not charge restocking fees for eligible returns that meet all policy requirements.

However:

  • Parts that fail inspection may incur a 20% restocking fee
  • Parts returned without RMA number may incur a 15% restocking fee
  • Special-order parts may incur a 25% restocking fee

Core Returns

Some parts require core returns (engines, transmissions, alternators, etc.):

  • Core must be returned within 30 days of receiving replacement
  • Core must be the same type as the part purchased
  • Core must be rebuildable (not cracked, broken, or seized)
  • Failure to return core will result in core charge being kept

Core Return Process:

  1. Use original packaging from new part
  2. Use provided prepaid core return label
  3. Ship within 30 days
  4. Core refund processed within 7 days of receipt

Commercial/Fleet Customer Returns

For commercial accounts and fleet customers:

  • Extended return windows may apply (contact your account manager)
  • Bulk return processing available
  • Direct replacement programs available
  • Contact commercial sales for specific terms

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received your refund:

  1. Check your bank account (processing takes 5-10 business days)
  2. Contact your credit card company (posting may take additional time)
  3. Contact your bank
  4. If still not received after 15 business days:
    • Email us at [email] with order number and return tracking
    • We'll investigate and resolve within 48 hours
