I have a diesel JD 4020 — does this fit?

No. The AR26528 / AT21418 switch is for gas and LP variants only. JD diesel 3020 / 4020 tractors use a different ignition switch with a different lock cylinder. Search by your engine variant in the JD parts catalog to confirm.

My JD 4020 is past s/n 090999 — will this still work?

Possibly not. John Deere changed the dash wiring and switch part number at the listed serial breaks. Pull your old switch and compare terminal layout and cylinder body before installing — if your switch has a different terminal pattern, this one won't drop in.

Are keys included?

Yes. The switch ships with keys pre-cut to the new lock cylinder. Your old JD keys will not work with this replacement.
