This 5.9 Cummins fuel injector is designed for Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks equipped with the 5.9L Cummins common rail diesel engine. Engine application: Fits 5.9L Cummins common rail diesel engines on Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks (2004.5–2007; late 5.9 models). Replaces Bosch number: Designed to replace Bosch fuel injector part number 0986435505 (crosses with 0 986 435 505, 0445120238 and related references used on late 5.9 Cummins). Restores performance: Helps correct issues such as hard starting, misfires, excessive exhaust smoke, and loss of power caused by worn or leaking injectors. Precise fuel delivery: Built to deliver consistent fuel pressure and spray pattern for smoother idle, better throttle response, and more stable towing performance. Direct replacement: Designed as a direct-fit injector for the factory common rail system—no custom modifications required when used in the correct model years. Installation note: For best results, it is strongly recommended to install new injector connector tubes and to keep the fuel system extremely clean to prevent contamination-related injector failure.
