Kubota V2203 Injector Nozzle 16454-53905 — Fits D1703 V2003

Order one per cylinder. For a V2203 (4-cylinder), order 4. For a D1703 (3-cylinder), order 3. Best practice is to replace all of them at the same time — if one nozzle is worn, the others typically aren't far behind, and you'll have the engine torn down already.

These are direct-replacement nozzle assemblies and come pre-set to OEM spec. If you have a pop-tester, it doesn't hurt to verify each one before installing. If you don't, install them as-is — they'll work right out of the box. If you experience rough running after install, have a diesel shop pop-test them to confirm pressure and spray pattern.

You CAN install just one, and the engine will run. But if one nozzle has failed from wear (vs. damaged from contamination), the others are usually getting close. Mixing one new and three old nozzles can cause an uneven fuel curve and rough idle. If budget is tight, do one and live with it — but plan to do the rest at next service.
