Will this work for the V2203-E (Bobcat 763 emissions engine)?

Yes. This single OEM gasket set (07916-29505) is the universal set for the entire V2203 family — V2203, V2203-E, V2203-M, V2203-DI, V2203-MDI. The same gaskets are used across all variants because the engine block, head, and major sealing surfaces are common. Always verify your engine ID tag matches before ordering, but you should be good for a 763 with V2203-E.

My Bobcat 763 is overheating but I don't see any external coolant leak — could it be the head gasket?

Yes — this is the classic internal head gasket failure pattern. Coolant passes into the combustion chamber, gets vaporized as white steam (often visible at startup), and the coolant level slowly drops without leaving a wet spot anywhere. Pull the oil dipstick and look for a milky or chocolate-milkshake appearance from coolant mixing into the oil. If you see that plus white exhaust smoke, the head gasket has failed internally. Pressure-test the cooling system to confirm. If you find two adjacent cylinders with low compression, the gasket has blown between them.
