The Farmall 460/560 uses a mechanical cable-driven tachometer. The tach in this kit is built for that drive. If your old tach cable is broken or stretched, replace it at the same time — a worn cable will make the new tach read erratically.

No — gauges only. Replace the temperature sender (engine block), fuel sender (tank), and oil pressure sender as a set if any of them are suspect. A bad sender will make a brand-new gauge look broken. Easy bench test: ohm out each sender from full-cold to full-hot or empty-to-full — should sweep smoothly.
